Configure a DependencyΒΆ

Before You Begin

  1. Click Integrations in the left navigation pane. The Integrations view lists existing integrations.

  2. Find the integration you want to edit:

    • Search for the integration by its name or description.
    • Filter integrations by partner name, RCX process, template, or status.

  3. Click the Edit icon () in the Actions column or click the integration name and click Edit in the upper right corner.

To configure a dependency:

  1. Click Dependencies. The Dependencies pane opens.

    Field Definitions
    Dependency Name
    The name for the dependency. Each integration can have only one dependency, but it can specify multiple prerequisite integrations. If the name is left blank, the integration has no dependency.
    Dependency Type *

    The criterion for determining whether to run the dependent integration. This field is required if Dependency Name is filled. Options are:

    • All must succeed
    • One of must succeed
    Integration Dependencies *
    The prerequisite integrations whose status is to be evaluated to determine whether FeedXChange runs the dependent integration. This field is required if Dependency Name is filled.

    Integration Properties Dependencies pane. The main section displays fields for Dependency Name, Dependency Type with a dropdown set to All Must Succeed, and Integration Dependencies with a dropdown labeled Select Integration Dependencies.

  2. Type a Dependency Name.

  3. Select the Dependency Type.

  4. In the Integration Dependencies field, select the prerequisite integrations the current (dependent) integration must wait for.

    Note

    If you select one or more integrations, a dependency name is required.

  5. Click Save in the upper right corner.

To remove a dependency, uncheck all integrations in the Integration Dependencies list.
