Test a Template

Test a TemplateΒΆ

  1. Create a sample file with two or three rows of fictitious data that matches the format of the anticipated input file for FeedXChange to download from the source system. The file's format (fixed or delimited) must match the template's configuration.
  2. Find the template you want to test:
    • Search by template name or description.
    • Filter templates by partner, RCX process, status, or the user who last updated the template.
  3. Click the template's name in the Templates list view.
  4. Click Test File in the upper right corner. The Upload Sample File dialog box opens.
  5. Click Upload Sample File () and navigate to the sample file you created.
  6. Click Test.

  7. If FeedXChange displays errors or warnings, fix them, click X to close the panel, and retest the template.

After the template test succeeds, you can publish it.
