About Account Summary

The Account Summary view is the default landing page you see after selecting an account on the Member Search view.

This screen is customized for your loyalty program. Some buttons, sections, or fields might not be present or might have different labels. Your instance might have additional functions, sections, or fields not listed here.

The Account Summary view displays member details including contact and basic account information. This view enables you to edit the member's profile, link two members, and merge member accounts.

Your RCX administrator can customize this view to show fields and sections not visible in Figure 1 or hide some of the displayed fields or sections.

Account Merging

Account merge is the act of merging two member records into one. Refer to Account Merging for more information.

Account Linking

Multiple accounts can be linked so they share points, such as members of a family who want to pool their points without merging their accounts.

Example

Member A and Member B each have 100 points in their wallets. Member A tries to redeem 150 points.

If their accounts are linked:

  • MCP redeems 100 points from Member A's account
  • MCP redeems 50 points from Member B's account

If their accounts aren't linked, Member A can't redeem more than 100 points.
