Searching for MembersΒΆ

The home view of the Member Care Portal (MCP) provides the search function to find loyalty member accounts by a number of attributes as shown in the screenshot below:

The Member Search panel is on the left with fields for personal details and a Search Results table is on the right. The search panel includes fields for Loyalty ID, name, birth date, contact info, and location, along with Search and Clear buttons. A Previous Searches section lists past queries. The results table is empty, and an 'Enroll Member' button is visible in the top right corner.

To find a member:

  1. Enter a random number in the Loyalty ID field and click Search. No records are found.
  2. Enter the following information for the specified fields:

    Field Value
    First name Hap
    Last name Mem
  3. Click Search. No results are returned.

    Note

    Only exact matches are returned. If you provide partial information, such as the first five digits of a loyalty ID, the MCP won't find a match. Wildcard characters, such as the asterisk (*), aren't used.

  4. Enter the following information for the specified fields:

    Field Value
    First name Happy
    Last name Member

    If you've completed the Enrolling Members tutorial, the Happy Member record appears in the Search Results pane.

    Note

    If others in your company have completed this tutorial, you might find multiple records for Happy Member. In this case, you can type your email address or phone number in the Filter field in the top right to narrow the results. The Filter field can filter only on fields displayed in the list view.

  5. To view the member's account details, click the entry in the search results.
