Introducing Security in RCX¶
This guide describes administration tasks such as setting up users and permissions, and integrating with Open ID Connect providers. It also covers reference data, division management, extensions, limits, and the Member Care Portal user interface configuration.
This documentation has four sections:
- Tutorials walk you through creating components to configure security.
- Explanations describe the purpose of each component and the concepts for their use.
- How-to Guides provide step-by-step instructions to configure the security-related components.
- References define each field and its limits, such as maximum length or value.
Security and Permissions Configuration¶
RCX uses both role-based and attribute-based access control (RBAC and ABAC).
For more information, refer to Security Architecture in ReactorCX.
User Accounts¶
RCX supports two modes of user authentication: native and OIDC. For more information, refer to Security Architecture in ReactorCX.
Reference Data¶
For information about configuring reference data, such as enums to populate drop-down lists, products, and segments, refer to the Reference Data sections.
