About LimitsΒΆ

Limits enable you to prevent customer service representatives from applying more adjustments to points, rewards, or coupons than your company policy permits.

You can limit the number of adjustments allowed within the selected timeframe or the total value of the adjustments.

Example

A customer service representative awards points to every member who calls about a problem, despite your company policy that states they can award no more than 150 points per day (value) as appeasements. You could add a limit for this user individually or all users with the same role to prevent this.

Limit modal dialog containing a form for defining program constraints. The form includes required drop-downs for selecting the user role, program details, and target type. Below these, a specific Limit Type selector determines the input fields for Day, Week, and Month numeric limits.

By implementing a daily, weekly, or monthly limit on a purse, coupon, or reward, you can enforce your company's policy on how to adjust members' accounts.

Note

Limits apply to actions users take in the Member Care Portal only.
