Manage Named Lists

Depending on the permissions granted to your role, you can create, update, or delete named lists on the view the list applies to. You can also edit or delete a named list on the Named Lists view.

To view the contents of a named list, go to the corresponding data view, such as Reference Data > Locations, and select it from the drop-down.

Create Named Lists

To create a named list:

  1. Open the view for which you want a new named list, such as Reference Data > Locations or Programs > Your Program > Policies > Reward Policies.
  2. Search for the records you want to include in the named list. For detailed steps, see Using Advanced Search.
  3. Click the button labeled with ellipses (...). The Named List dialog box opens.
  4. Complete each field as needed. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

    Name *
    The name of the named list.
    Type
    The type of named list. Options are Dynamic and Static. Dynamic lists are updated by RCX depending on //TODO. Static lists are... //TODO.

  5. Click Save. The named list now appears in the Reference Data > Named Lists view.

Edit Named Lists

To edit a named list:

  1. Open the view that has the named list you want to change, such as Reference Data > Locations.
  2. In the named list drop-down, select the named list you want to edit.
  3. Click the button labeled with ellipses (...). The Named List dialog box opens.

  4. Change the fields as needed. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

  5. Click Save.

Tip

You can also edit a named list on the Reference Data > Named Lists view. Search for the named list and click the Edit icon ().

Delete Named Lists

To delete a named list:

  1. Expand Settings in the navigation pane.
  2. Click Named Lists.
  3. Search for the named list you want to delete. For detailed steps, see Using Advanced Search.
  4. Click the Delete icon () in the Actions column.

Tip

You can also delete a named list on the view where it was created, such as Reference Data > Locations.

  1. In the drop-down list in the upper right, select the named list you want to delete.
  2. Click the button labeled with ellipses (...). The Named List dialog box opens.

  1. Click Delete. The named list is deleted and all data appears in the view.

Refresh Named Lists

When you add or delete a record that affects the search results for a named list, the Named List view doesn't automatically display the updated number (count) of the records.

To update the count:

  1. Open Reference Data > Named Lists.
  2. Search for the named list you want to refresh.
  3. Click the Refresh icon () in the Actions column. The Count, Refreshed By, and Refresh Date are updated.
