Assigning Divisions to RCX Resources

Now that you've created a division hierarchy, you can assign a division to resources within RCX, such as policies, rules, and the loyalty program itself.

Assign Divisions to a Program

To ensure only certain people or roles can perform actions within the loyalty program configuration, assign both divisions to the program.

  1. Click Programs.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Find the Acme Pet Loyalty Rewards program.
  4. Click the Edit icon () in the Actions column. The Loyalty Program dialog opens.
  5. In the Divisions drop-down list, select both AcmePetIT and AcmePetCS.

Assign a Division to a Policy

  1. Expand Programs in the nav pane.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Find the Acme Pet Loyalty Rewards program and expand it.
  4. Click Policies.
  5. Click the Edit icon () in the Actions column for the BOGO Pet Food policy. The Reward Policy dialog box opens.
  6. For the Divisions field, select the AcmePetCS division.
  7. Click OK.

Next, you'll assign the parent division, AcmePetIT, to another policy to give the admin1 user more control.

  1. Click the Edit icon () in the Actions column for the Mix & Match Collar-Leash policy. The Reward Policy dialog box opens.
  2. For the Divisions field, select the AcmePetIT division.
  3. Click OK.
